1. What we collect
Account information (name, email, phone), profile details (education, skills, resume), application history, and platform usage analytics. For companies: business name, contact person, and verification documents.
2. How we use your data
To match you with relevant opportunities, surface applications to employers you apply to, send transactional and product communication, prevent fraud, and improve the Platform.
3. Sharing
Your profile and resume are shared with employers only when you apply to their roles. We never sell personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers under strict data-processing agreements.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication, preferences, and anonymised analytics. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser.
5. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-based and audited. Despite our controls, no internet service can be 100% secure.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard settings or by emailing privacy@careeryatra.in.
7. Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is open. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
8. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner before they take effect.
